Cookery courses

Over the last year we have run a variety of vegan cookery courses at Moose's Kitchen. We have temporarily stopped these for now, due to going on maternity leave soon, but hope to start again in the Autumn.

Most of the courses were free basic sessions focussing on cooking with fruit and vegetables, using local produce and reducing food waste for community groups, which were funded by the Local Food Fund grant.

They included a kids cookery class, and courses in partnership with the Seven Streets Community Project, Southdowns Housing Association, Pestalozzi International Village Trust.

We also ran two Real Bread making courses with guest tutors Robin Van Creveld, the Community Chef and Emmanuel Hadjiandreou.
